CAI Dianxiong is Director of Soil & Water Management at Institute of Agriculture and Regional Planning, Chinese Academy of Agriculture Sciences, and Chairman of International Soil and Tillage Research Organization of China Branch. He is an academic lead of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, a member of Chinese Associate Society of Soil Science, of National Committee of food and Agricultural Resources Development, and of Chinese Pacific Economic Cooperation Organization. He is a senior consultant of Chinese Associate Society of Soil Conservation Tillage and Director of Dryland Agricultural Experimental Station of Ministry of Agriculture located in Luoyang city. He had completed a number of major national and international projects and got "Agricultural Science Award" of Zhou Guangzhao Foundation. 
He is Professor in Soil Science focusing on “Soil Physics”, “Soil Tillage”, and “Soil Environment” at the Chinese Academy of Agriculture Sciences.
