Speaker: Ambassador Teshome Toga Chanaka
H.E. Teshome Toga Chanaka is Ambasssador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia to the People's Republic of China. He has had a long and successful career in diplomacy, having served as Ethiopia’s Ambassador to Ghana, Egypt, Kenya, and France. He also represented his country at international organizations such as the UNEP, UN-HABITAT, and the UNESCO.
H.E. Teshome has also served as Member of the House of Federation of Ethiopia; Member of the Council of the South Nations, Nationalities and People’s Regional State; Speaker at the House of People's Representatives; and Minister of Youth, Sports and Culture of Ethiopia.
